Forum Snow
Through Jeremy Dubs, I had the opportunity to shoot for Forum at Mt. Baker Ski Resort alongside Peter Line and the crew. We spent the day on Hemisphere, where I was able to capture a strong series of shots that highlight both the terrain and the energy of the team. It was an incredible experience, and I’m excited for future opportunities to collaborate.
Forum on Hemmes
The Vision: "Grab What You Can" This wasn’t a staged commercial set. It was a tag-along documentary-style mission—capturing the stoke as it happened. The goal was to document the day in the life: the hiking, the flat light, the pockets of good snow, and the absolute freedom of choosing your own lines. It’s about remembering what snowboarding actually is—free-spirited individuality and hitting a feature because you're feeling it, not because a director told you to.
The Atmosphere: No Egos
Meeting industry giants like Peter Line and finding out they’re humble, polite, and just genuinely good humans is the best part of the job. Watching Laura work and seeing the whole Forum crew—Jack, Denver, and Eli—bring that energy made it easy to stay inspired. Whether it was the "mini-shred" jibs or Eli sending that Front 3 Stale, the vibe was just about having a good time and documenting the reality of the session
The Terrain: Working the Ridge
The snow wasn't perfect everywhere that day, but once we hiked up into Hemisphere, we found the spots that mattered. The terrain at Baker demands respect, and seeing heavy hitters pick apart those lines—going big when it was there or finding creative jibs when it wasn't—highlighted exactly why this crew is where they are.
